activating comments for articles and its not showing up

This might be a completely inane question. But when I activate comments for an article, I cannot see, on the homepage or article, the ability to leave comments. Does it only start discussion threads in the forums? I'm wondering because my user simply wants users to be able to leave comments like the old news module. She doesn't want forum discussion linked to her articles.

Correct. That was the whole reason of Pro_News - many, many people dislike the old comments system for numerous reasons: poor display, cumbersome to navigate, off-putting to some users, 2nd system to learn, etc., etc.

Ah, okay. Thanks, that does help. Personally, I think it's a great idea...but my user isn't excited about it.
