Template help

I've never had a chance to get to understand templates so wonder if anyone could help me.

I like the feature of the index2 template that has the caption below the thumbnail picture. I also like the feature on indexsp that puts the 'full article' link right after the text ends rather than at the bottom of the table.

I can't for the life of me work out what I need to move to get the 'full article' link straight after the text. Could someone point the way for me?
