Pro_News 3.2.1 is available.

Included are the Featured Content Slider which can be used to display a large number of pictures in a small space, as a slideshow alternative or both, and a Coppermine hack to allow Batch Upload without resorting to ftp. Plus a few small improvements, details on download page.

The FCS templates add an enhanced version of DynamicDrive's Featured Content Slider - type 3, the complex all graphical one, the 4th and last one on their demo page. The FCS is already very "dynamic" but I've also added an each-way slide on the slider control - a slide on the slider - so that it can handle more than the original 4 or 5 images - how about up to 32 photos!!! The template does all the prep work for you, so there is no work to do on your part at all! Just swap your existing template for the new one and you're done!!! And if you have developed your own templates, you'll be pleased to know that it is quite easy to add into you own custom templates too, the new html is well contained.

More gallery pages and slideshow options are still there, for backward compatibility, and total flexibility, but in many cases FCS alone will suffice.

And as final touch, check out the Printer Friendly version - by clicking on the printer icon below. No JavaScript of course, but still all the images are neatly displayed!

Also the release now also includes a Coppermine hack for Batch Upload Pictures! So you can upload those 32 images without resorting to using ftp.
